Join the Baby Poppins team
We are looking for people to join Baby Poppins team so that we can continue to help as many families as possible. We are initially looking for Essex based Team Members, however we are looking to expand into the neighbouring counties/areas which include Greater London, Hertfordshire, Kent, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.
All of our Team Members are self-employed meaning that you can work as little or as much as you like to fit around your family or other commitments. Many of our Team Members are parents and work during school hours, term time only. However, if you can offer different hours, we are sure we would have a family in need of those hours! Please note that hours are not guaranteed but we will endeavour to give you as much work as we can.
Duties of our Team Members can include:
Laundry and ironing
Playroom tidy-ups or organisation
In-house childcare
Bed changes
Errands and more!
We offer a bespoke service so families can choose the duties that they feel will benefit them and these requirements can change as and when needed. Be sure to read more about Baby Poppins here.
We also offer a Babysitting service (we suggest £12/hour)
You will need the following:
Childcare experience is preferable but not essential if not going to take on childcare duties.
All of our Team Members must have an enhanced DBS and hold public liability insurance (or be willing to obtain both at your own cost approx. £110 for both). We recommend Nanny Insure for PLI.
We also ask for 2 recent references.
Clients will pay you directly (we suggest £15/hour) at the end of each session worked. Each month a timesheet will need to be submitted to Baby Poppins and 16% commission paid to us for admin and job allocation. This is covered in the contract you will sign.
